Centered around the culture of dining, celebration, and togetherness, the exhibition Wide Expanse brings together works across painting, sculpture, and installation. The selection bridges traces of the past with the shared emotions of the present, focusing on the innate human desire for connection and communion.

Wide Expanse
recalls not only the act of gathering around a table, but also the conversations, music, friendship, love, sorrow, and joy that accompany it — a way of living that celebrates being together. The artists featured in the exhibition reinterpret layers of collective memory through a contemporary visual language, drawing inspiration from dining rituals across different eras and cultures.

Spanning from ancient feasts to Ottoman taverns, from Republican-era entertainment venues to today’s digital gatherings, the exhibition approaches the table as a site of sharing, performance, and celebration. Wide Expanse invites visitors to remember the ease of crowded tables, the warmth of community, and to reflect on the irreplaceable human need to rejoice, grieve, and share moments together.
